Just a quick note that I created a Console Gaming forum, here we can all swap Live ID's and Wii Codes so we always have cool fuckin peeps to jam with online. Check it out, post some links, show us some interesting pics. Board is OPEN!

be careful of your account names and passwords. if your account password is the same as your POL Password, change it.

RMT's are putting malicious code in links that run from java/realplayer. on certain webpages, from reading some of the information on bluegartr, some Linkshell forums are targeted too.

we screen most people who apply to this site, but we can't be foolproof that a bot might get through.

your best bet is to be careful of what you allow in terms of scripts/java apps run on your web pages. you can set it up on your internet explorer or mozilla.

also, I've played around with Spybot Search and Destroy. Kinda like an Anti Virus for Spy/ad ware. Highly recommended.

Assault SET being put togethor by Pesh

Pesh is going to be putting togethor a set assault team that will be running weekdays, most likely two times a week. Falcor has started a post asking wich Teir you are on and if you are interested. It will most likely be monday & friday around 9am or 2pm, depends on our schedules. If you have a desire to do this, we need 4 more people. Your Tier is not important as this is a set and we will catch everyone up. If you have the free time, and are interested in a hardcore set to get this completed, then your in! Pirates first, will fill extra spots by shouting or asking other LS friends.

Monday February the 4th will be our first run as a set. Please post on the forum if you are interested, I also need to know what jobs you have at 75 that you can run with.

Hope to make this an all SoulPirate group, I look forward to having you run with us!

SoulPirates OPEN Recruitment!!!

I know ive been gone a while, and I must commend Feiht on a job well done in keeping the spirit of SoulPirates alive and well! I would like to have a "Recruitment Drive" in an attempt to get our chat channel /linkshell a little more life - work our way back up to more linkshell events, and just all around have a good time. If you have friends in other LS ... INVITE THEM IN. Shoot them the webpage (shit looks good now!). If you know people needing a LS, tell them you have a good home for them. If you know people that have quit, and may want to come back but are worried about not having a good group to game with.... This is what we need!

As the game is getting older, the server population is shrinking, and I would hate to see SoulPirates fall by the wayside simply because people are moving on with their lives and away from MMO Gaming. We still have a huge majority of our core members around, and I have defenitely seen some great talent on our server since Ive been back. Our World of Warcraft excursion was a fucking disaster, but that game is a walking disaster so kinda figures.

Long story short, I need you guys to invite your friends in. Even if its not a permanent home for them, its nice to have people you know pop in to say hi, invite us to events, ask for help on random shit.... LETS FUCKING DO IT!

Default Theme Changed

Apparently I need to fire up my internet connection a wee bit more often. News has "finally" reached me that the World of Warcraft Guild of SoulPirates has been terminated due to lack of leadership, infighting, and immaturity. As such the default page theme will not reflect the fallen SoulPirates Guild, but the everlasting SoulPirates of Ragnarok.

If you want to see the old World of Warcraft Theme, its site theme "402" in your profile dropdown. I will also NOT be making a new banner because there is no point.

I have not Force-Reset anyones profile, because thats just rude. I hope that we can have more successfull game guilds in the future and I am sorry to see this one fail for such stupid reasons. I will be graduating school this summer so I will be able to assist the community much more here shortly. I do plan on going to graduate school, but I dont foresee it taking up as much of my time as my current schedule.

New Banner Logo

I know its extremely out of date, the top banner, I am going on vacation tomorow, but when i get back i plan to have a new banner created. If anyone would like to submit some while im on vacation that would be cool to, if i like it, it will become the new banner.

Anyways long story short, if you think you can make a nice soulpirates banner post it in the forums, if not, i will make a new one in about 2 weeks.

Soul Pirates Downs Attumen the Huntsman!

After a bit of work attuning our 70s, SP has started Karazhan. After a failed first run on Sunday night, our second attempt at Attumen netted us our first boss kill. Our team worked extremely well and I'm looking forward to seeing us grow.

Pirates Raiding

Just wanted to take a moment to let the members know how impressed I am at the progress that the guild is making. Currently we have 8 members at level 70 and more on the way.

As soon as we have 10 members at 70, we will begin attunements to Karazhan. In the meantime, we'll be running 5 man instances and the old raids to get a feel for each others playstyle. As such, if you group with a good player who you feel would make a good member feel free to invite them.

I'm real excited to see what is in store for us.
